“ADR -
Your opportunity to connect”
Who are we?
Why ADR?
The Australian Druze Retreat (ADR) has been created for the 26-40 year old demographic, for people who want to connect in ways we have not tried before, on a National level.
What?
The retreat spans over two nights and three days, featuring activities to strengthen faith and build relationships.
We have partnered with a range of knowledgeable people to ensure we create something special.
Our Mission
Our goal is to establish a setting where participants are able to connect while reflecting on life's purpose and motivations, with our faith as an underlying driver.
The Itinerary
Day 1 - 30 August
Day 2 - 31 August
Prepare to kick off your day bright and early with a morning hike followed by a range of faith workshops, food, engaging activities, and, of course, some well-deserved downtime.
Day 3 - 1 September
We will end the weekend on a high with a farewell gathering, followed by a brunch to say goodbye.
Location & Accommodation
We have thoughtfully selected our location in the heart of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
This area provides a mix of sunny weather and ample space to host our event,
making it the first National Druze event to be held in Queensland.

Frequently Asked Questions
If I am under the age of 26, can I still attend?
ADR is specifically tailored to engage the 26 - 40 year olds in our community and is another exciting addition to the National calendar.
If you are under 28 and interested, fill out our Expression Of Interest form here or contact our team directly and we can discuss options.
What can you expect to get out of this retreat?
It is ultimately to provide you with time and space to connect and learn with your fellow community, while taking in the nature and sunshine.
What do I do with my kids?
Unfortunately, our current itinerary does not support children to join in. However, if you’re able to bring your children and have someone else (maybe a grandparent?) care for them while you complete the organised itinerary, the Oaks Resort is very family friendly.
Why the Sunshine Coast?
The Sunshine Coast is not only known for its pleasant weather but also serves as an ideal retreat destination, immersing us in it’s vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, it offers a neutral setting on our national calendar.
Can couples come?
Of course, this event is made for everyone and anyone within our community above the age of 26.
Are there any additional costs?
We have designed our package to include most costs for the weekend.
What does transportation look like?
We have organised bussing to take you to and from the airport and everywhere else in between.
